Delp Orchard is a family owned orchard in St. John, KS.

The Delp’s have a history of growing a variety of trees – Christmas trees, shade trees, and fruit trees.

Cecil Delp started the tree business back in the early 50’s.  His two brothers had large peach, apple, cherry and apricot orchards in Yakima Valley, Washington.  This generated his interest in the fruit business. Cecil planted and maintained an orchard for several years before starting the Christmas tree business.

Cecil’s grandson, Joel, his wife Sarah and family (Elijah, Emmett and Ceci), started their orchard in 2014 with an initial setting of 21 peach trees.  It has now grown to 350 apple trees, 260 peach trees and 75 pear trees.  Approximately 100 of these trees are in full production with the remainder becoming full producers within the next 2-4 years.
